October 27, 2017, 2:11pm. Petty Theft. 18 year old Caucasian male, 5 8, was observed placing an unpurchased item into pants from display of adult toys. Suspect drew the attention of the staff for being uncharacteristically young for usual clientele and was monitored accordingly. Under suspicion of shoplifting, the suspect was detained with probable cause by the loss prevention officer on duty. Upon detention, the suspect became agitated, displaying increasingly confrontational and disrespectful behavior. Suspect denied possessing any merchandise. The suspect was frisked and searched, during which the unpurchased item in question was recovered from his person. An understanding was reached by the suspect and the loss prevention officer, and he was released without involvement of law enforcement. $64.99 retail value recovered for the store without incident.
